Experience

I taught 3rd grade twins who were at different levels. I created specialized lesson plans for each of them based on their specific needs and learning styles. They both improved drastically and by the end of the year, they were both ahead of grade level.

I have tutored many different students in both Algebra and Pre-Algebra, and it is my personal favorite subject. One student in particular felt very unconfident in their abilities and really disliked math when we started tutoring. Through our sessions this student not only became more confident but began to enjoy math and look forward to our sessions. 

For 2 years I taught two elementary age siblings in all subjects, including language arts. Due to having school on zoom during such fundamental years, both students struggled with understanding fundamental concepts of English. I created specialized lesson plans every week that focused on reading comprehension, grammar, spelling, and writing. Over the course of those 2 years, both students went from being below grade level, to confidently at grade level.
